The Walk For Water simulates this trek to raise awareness and funds that save lives at risk due to the global water crisis. The need is great; your help is deeply appreciated. St. Mary’s Food Bank serves to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education.The Phoenix Rescue Mission is a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for men, women, and children in our community struggling with homelessness, addiction, and trauma.Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory’s mission is to further through study, research, publication, teaching and public display the knowledge of marine biology; to promote protection of marine life and the marine environment; to collect, classify and disseminate marine biological specimens.Four Peaks Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, training and placement of all species of domestic animals in need of medical care and sanctuary.Founded in 1989, A Stepping Stone currently collaborates with Alhambra Elementary School District to provide two preschool classes for a total of 35 three- and four-year-old preschool children, up to 13 younger siblings, and adult education and parenting classes for their parents in Phoenix, Arizona.The Regional Aquatics Workshop (RAW) is an annual conference for learning and professional networking among aquarium curators and aquarists.
